Volunteer Program Overview

Join us for a unique experience volunteering at the 2017 Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship, hosted at the Caves Valley Golf Club, July 11- 16, 2017. Volunteers will receive a behind the scenes experience working on various volunteer committees, all while watching the best golfers on the PGA TOUR Champions. It take hundreds of volunteers to host a successful championship event, we thank you for your interest in volunteering and appreciate your support of the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship.

REGISTRATION

We ask all volunteers to purchase the $80 volunteer package, which can be paid by credit card through the on-line application. Paper applications are available and the volunteer fee can be paid by cash or check.

VOLUNTEER PACKAGE

The $80 volunteer package includes the following (over $250 value):

• Two (2) Nike volunteer Shirts
• One (1) golf cap or visor 
• Volunteer credential (provides entry to the championship Tuesday - Sunday, even when not volunteering)
• One weekly grounds guest ticket
• Lunch voucher on days when you volunteer (one voucher per shift)
• Invitation to Volunteer Appreciation Party
• Volunteer Parking

VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE INFORMATION

When registering, you will have the opportunity to pick your top two committee choices. There are over 20 different volunteer areas to choose from, and volunteer opportunities are available before, during, and after the championship. A complete list of committees and days they are operational can be found on the volunteer website.

TIME COMMITMENT

Volunteers are required to work three shifts (approximately four – six hours) on their respective committee. When registering online you will be asked the days and times you prefer to work. While it is understood things may change over the course of a few months, please try to be as accurate as possible. Volunteers will receive the schedule from their committee coordinator and will work with that coordinator if any changes are necessary. 

TRAINING 

Each committee will receive training prior to the championship. Training is required for all volunteers. The exact dates/times of training will be included when each volunteer receives their committee assignment.

CHARITY

The 2016 Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship is proud to have donated over $500,000 to local charities in the greater Philadelphia area. All championship proceeds after expenses are donated back to local charities, and your volunteer fee helps offset expenses so the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS can donate as much as possible back into the community!
